Without business, there is no community and without sales, there is no business.

We’re passionate about making a difference and releasing the potential in individuals so they can be the best they can be. That’s why we donate a percentage of our profits to “Our Banjar” where we help disadvantaged and young people develop the personal and leadership skills they need to succeed.

Playing our part in the wider community

Banjar is the name of the building you will see in the centre of every Indonesian town and village. The Banjar is the centre of the community.

It is also the name we have chosen for our charitable activities.

We believe all businesses should contribute into the communities that serve them and make it possible for them to succeed.

We do this by delivering and supporting a number of initiatives that empower and enable both young and disadvantaged people.

Our Current Initiatives

Unlocking the power of young people so they can shape their own lives.

REACH connect with young people, uncover what is holding them back, and equip them with the tools, to set goals, deal with conflict and stand up for what they believe in. They give them the skills to navigate life’s challenges.

Each program, camp and workshop is planned, led and facilitated by young people. Mike and Sales Shift support them and their programs in a voluntary capacity.

Righteous Pups Australia Inc is a national charity, the first and only to place Autism Assistance Dogs with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders throughout Australia. Each dog costs approximately $29,000 to train and place over an 18-month to two year period-  at no cost to the recipient family.

Righteous Pups exists to bring promise to life and they do that by raising Champions and launching Heroes!

The Champions are the Assistance, Type 1 Diabetes medical alert and Therapy Dogs who have that incredible ability to connect, bond and assist children with disability or disease,  at-risk teens and young people with disabilities to heal and thrive in life. The Champions bring out the best in us and time and again we have seen lives transformed through canine intervention.

The Heroes are the people we have the privilege to serve, our children and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorders, our at-risk teens deemed to be at significant educational risk, our young people with disabilities who allow us to assist them to bring their promise to life. Heroes are launched every day into a new normal and a better tomorrow with quality, dignity and hope.

Mindshop Excellence fast tracks the development of young minds through a one-week employer hosted work experience program aimed at fostering skills such as teamwork and self-confidence. Acting as company ‘executives’ for the week, students are given a real issue by the host company and using powerful programs solving tools, find solutions to the issue as a team.

For students unable to participate in the core program, they can learn the same tools and processes through an online problem-solving course and apply them to a real issue of importance to the student.

The School of St Jude

The School of St Jude is a pioneering leader in charitable education within Africa. Founder, Gemma Sisia, opened the school in 2002 with a big dream to bring the opportunity of free, quality education to children living in poverty. This remains their mission today.

They provide free education to 1,800 bright, poor primary and secondary students, we support 100s of graduates with access to higher education and provide more than 20,000 government school students with volunteer teachers each year. Located across three campuses, they provide boarding for all secondary students and employ around 300 Tanzanian staff.

St Jude’s promotes a holistic, well-rounded education so students can do more than just succeed; they are empowered to challenge the status quo, find solutions to assist the 45 million Tanzanians living in poverty and become the future leaders their country needs.

Little Leaders

Sales Shift founder Mike Boyle designed the Primary School Little Leaders Program to promote leadership, effective communication, time management and respect for self and others from a young age.

By introducing the skills of teamworkself-reliance and self-confidence we can provide the opportunity for children to acquire positive life skills. The program will promote leadershipeffective communicationtime management and respect for self and others.

The students will look at examples of great leadership and participate in activities aimed at inspiring them to;

  • Work in teams and consider team dynamics

  • Lead a team and enjoy the responsibility

  • Overcome fear and to think positively

  • ‘Pay it forward’ – enjoy the thrill of giving

  • Plan for team success

In the spirit of reconciliation, Sales Shift acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
